Consistory Election Voting ends today. Please submit all ballots in the Fellowship Hall box before 3PM. If you have not received a ballot, please see one of the leaders immediately after worship service today.
There will be a Thanksgiving Dessert/Appetizer Get-Together on Sunday, 11/27 after church from 2:30-5pm. Come and hang out with board games, food and fellowship! Please bring a dessert, savory snack, appetizer, and/or board game to share.
Early registration for the English Retreat ends on Nov 27th. Retreat fees will increase $40 per person so sign up fast! More info on www.Newtown.church/retreat.
The Consistory has approved for the English Congregation to run Deacon Nomination and Elections again in order to fill the empty positions. All members are requested to participate in this process. The timetable is as follows:
a. Nominations Forms submitted on Sundays, 11/20 and 11/27
b. Announcement of candidates beginning 12/18
c. Deacon Election Ballots collection Sundays, 1/1 and 1/8Please join us for a virtual zoom meeting to share more about how our English congregation leadership team functions and the practical roles and responsibilities of deacons at our church.
